About DMR Map

What is this?

DMR Map is an interactive map of all active DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) repeaters on the Australian VK DMR network. Each marker shows the repeater callsign, and clicking it reveals detailed information including transmit/receive frequencies, licensee, location, and ACMA licence reference.

How is the data generated?

A PHP command-line tool scrapes the live repeater list from the VK DMR network status page, extracts each repeater callsign, then looks up the corresponding licence on the ACMA Register of Radiocommunications Licences (RRL) to retrieve TX/RX frequencies, site coordinates (latitude and longitude), and licensee details. The results are exported as GeoJSON, KML, and CSV.
